Look at the first photo and just stare at it. If you can tear yourself away from that image and it takes a lot of effort, come back and read this. Every so often, about every other month, I searched Amazon on the off-chance that they have released Ashes to Ashes on DVD in Region one format yet. Alas, they haven’t and I fear they never will. I NEED DI ALEX DRAKE IN MY DVD COLLECTION FOR ALL TIME. DON’T YOU UNDERSTAND THIS, BBC! *lets out long breathe* And don’t even get me started that Spooks isn’t on Netflix either or I will start to throw things. Doesn’t anyone understand that seeing Keeley Hawes playing a law enforcement official is serious business and business I need to experience over and over again!!! *Cries* Alex Drake *Cries* I did recently catch her short-lived ITV show Identity which was fairly entertaining and just reaffirmed that I will watch her be a cop in anything … even if it is 45 minutes of her doing boring paperwork. “Is she is DI in this? Brilliant! She’s just fussing with forms? I don’t care!”
